Nawashi Kanna was the deshi of Akechi Denki. His influence on contemporary kinbaku culture is enormous. Together with Kagura, his partner in rope and life since 14 years, he has performed and taught rope around the world. This is their first visit to Sweden.

Curriculum for this intensive weekend will be set by Kanna based on his observations of the participants.

There will be focus on precision, control of tension and rope handling, which Kanna himself masters like no one else. Included will be will be the original Takate kote that Kanna learned directly from Akechi Denki, as well as other upper body ties. We will however deal not only with the procedure of tying, but with intention, how to handle the rope, and how to communicate and play to enjoy shibari with our partners. Kanna will also teach some of his own Hojo Kinbaku-jutsu. Kanna's Kinbaku is always restrictive and often includes forms of breath control. You will learn how to make the ties easier or more challenging for your partner.

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED
Both rigger and model must be confident with at least a 3-rope TK, safe suspensionlines, basic line-management & anatomical knowledge.

This will be a weekend intensive in an intimate setting, with very few participants. Lots of opportunity for feedback.

Time: Saturday and Sunday 10.00–19.00 (with breaks)
Price: 5.000 SEK per couple
