|Welcome to another ropething!|
Take a break from wrapping gifts and instead wrap up a human in this december edition of ropething! ♥
What is a ropething?
A nice place with floor puzzle mats to tie on, fika, tables and chairs, good company with rope-y people. If we are many people we might scale up to a bigger place with a dedicated room for tying and a separate common area. The idea is to have a nice calm space to tie and socialize in. Maybe a good place to try ropes out before going to a club filled with loud music. Or a place to take a date to feel out the energy before going home to them. Or just a place to bring a book to sit and read, drink tea and look at rope sessions.
Why should I come?
Do you like tying people up? Are you generally interested and would like to meet people in the area who are into it? Want some inspiration and chitchat? Do you just want to roll around on a mat? Then ropething may be the ropething for you!
What does it cost?
Donation based swish or cash! So give as much as you think it's worth! I am not looking to make any money off this so any surplus donations goes into juicier fika next time. And if it doesn't break even there will be fewer ropethings.
Should I bring anything?
Ropes if you want to! Or someone to tie you up! Any fika donations is warmly received. A good mood will help too.
Will there be any workshops?
We will have a welcoming circle and a closing circle. If enough people express an interest we might do a intro to ropes workshop. If you would like to hold a workshop there might be scheduled sessions for that if this becomes a regular thing.
Will there be a text in Swedish as well?
Maaybe - check back later and I might've added it
Do you have a code of conduct?
1. Always establish consent for any activity (this includes talking to people). If you are unsure, ask with words using your mouth. If you are uncomfortable asking then a) do it anyway or b) don't do the thing you are contemplating doing.
2. This is not a playparty. Since its a rented space: At least underwear on and please keep your bodily fluids inside your bodies.
3. See 1.
4. Make yourself aware of the Dunning-Kruger effect and think thrice before you do something you don't fully master. I reserve the right to throw out anyone doing stupid things according to my own subjective assessment.
5. Clean up after yourselves and leave the place in the same or better condition than you found it in.
6. No alcohol.
