Welcome to SQUIK Queer Munch organized in central Växjö! A safe space for people with LGBTQ+ experiences to hang out, socialize, and make friends in a space dedicated primarily for us.

This event is dedicated to all queers (and allies) with an interest in kink. Anyone ranging from simply curious, to people with a lot of experience, is welcome! We share in our collective knowledge and ideas. We also want to use this as a launchpad to explore the dreams, passions, and creativity resident in our wonderfully diverse brains. This is a place for you as a queer to take up space!

There will be absolutely no play at this event! We socialize and talk in a casual setting and dress appropriately.

We’re aware that there is a lack of kinky events in Växjö. That’s why we also welcome allies who aren’t queer! What it means to be an ally is described at the bottom of the page. Queer people have priority and we reserve the right to deny attendance for people in order to keep this a comfortable space for us.

Location:
The location will be sent to people who have registered as attending. It’s located in central Växjö, with access to restaurant/cafe/bar. The space is being gracefully lent out to us, and we will treat it with respect and clean up after ourselves.

Note: The space unfortunately doesn’t offer wheelchair access. If this restricts anyone from coming we would love to hear from you so we can work on solving that for the next event.

SQUIK SAFER SPACES AGREEMENT
We do not allow any type of:
racism, sexism, transphobia, elitism, ableism, slut shaming, body shaming, kink shaming, age discrimination, speciesism

* Respect pronouns and names. do not assume gender, sexuality or background
* Be aware of personal space and non-verbal cues
* Be responsible for your actions. Be aware that your actions have an effect on others, despite what your intentions might be
* Check in before bringing up topics that might be triggering
* Safer spaces persons will be available on each occasion

Who is an ally?

As a cisgender and heterosexual person you are welcome to attend this event, under the condition that you understand this is a space primarily for queer people. That means you have read, understood, and agree to our safer spaces agreement above. You also understand that this is not a place for you to educate yourself, question anyone’s identity or sexuality, ask people to explain pronouns, or share your opinions on any part of the queer experience. It is absolutely not an opportunity for you to hit on people; fetishize our identities, bodies, or gender expression; or otherwise objectify people who are there. You’re expected to have some sort of basic understanding of what it means to be LGBTQ+.

When registering for the event, please leave a comment or send us a message acknowledging that you understand and agree to the safer spaces agreement. Location will be sent out in PM closer to the date of the event to those who are participating in accordance to the SQUIK agreement.
