An evening with Shibari, the Japanese art of rope bondage. This event is a collaboration between Jessica, Timmy and the association Närhet. Finally in English! The evening starts with an intro to shibari where we will take a look at the foundation and techniques, to lead and follow, how to use the rope as an extension of our arms, connection with your partner and also how to practice shibari safely. We will focus on creating connection with your partner rather than technique. You will be guided in the foundations so that you’re able to continue your shibari practice solo or with a partner. After 2 hours of intro the room opens up to a free space where you can continue to practice, play and explore. You’re free to leave or stay any time you want, we will close it up latest at midnight. This event is suitable for all levels, regardless if you’re a beginner or have more experience. ---Practical information--- •Drop in 18.00-18:30, doors close at 18.30 for the group’s well-being •Intro between 18.30-ca 20.30 •The event closes at 00.00 •Snacks is offered, bring your own water bottle •Free from alcohol and drugs •Soft and comfortable clothes is prefered, come clean without strong perfumes The day after (Saturday 17/2) we also have an advanced course in shibari at the same venue. Registrate by sending 275kr by swish to 0760965522 (Jessica), write ‘Shibari Sollentuna’ as a message + your name. You’re registrated once the fee is sent or you can pay with cash (you need to contact Jessica for regestration if you pay with cash). You’re welcome to also click the ‘attend’ button on FB. Registration closes 2 hours before the event starts, at 16:30. If the price restricts you from attending, get in touch with us. If you have paid but are unable to attend you can get the money back if it’s not more than 24 hours until the event starts. If it’s less than 24 hours left, your spot can go to someone else, if you talk to us first. Location: AYSE, Åkervägen 1, Sollentuna. The nearest train station is Helenelund. Free parking is available with entrance about 100 meters before or after the venue (AYSE) depending on which direction you are coming from. You can find the parking lot by driving up a small unpaved road with a barrier, which will be open.
