Part 52: And now I have what I ever hoped
| “Like the good old times.” I have no idea what Hreidmar means by that, ten years ago or a thousand? “Father. What do you want me to do?” He touches my shoulder with the tip of his tail. His gentleness warms my heart. “Daughter. I am happy to see you growing up. Becoming. As I saw Fafni.” Tiny rainbows dance in front of me when he mentions him. I close my eyes. “Put this burden down, Sister.” I hear the sharp little voice so crystal-clear. “My revenge for your death?” His laughter is trilling, coming out of every corner of the cave, seeping into me, going deep. I feel my heart light up, feel him dancing there. “How could I be dead, Sister, as long as you are alive?” I have to close my eyes. Sky holds me in his arms when I wake up. “Mist.” He looks at me, longing in his eyes. “What is your real name?” He smiles. “Sky, property of Mist.” “You no longer have my rune.” “Not on my skin, no.” “You are free to go.” “Am I free to stay?” My hands disappear under his shirt. He sighs. I rip the clothes off his body, soon he is naked, on his knees in front of me. Ready to serve. Like the good old times. I grab his head, push it down between my thighs. The thoughts disappear. I cry out when I come, hear him cry out as well. My hands circle his throat. Days go by, and we are still not done, discovering each other. I see the thunderclouds in the distance. Lightning over the mountains, the rain soaks us to the bone. We don’t care. I have no idea how long we stay inside the trance, the beautiful haze. Nothing outside of us matters. |
