Find Sunday’s Suspension Workshop here: https://www.fetopia.com/?event=64039 What is the goal of the weekend? This weekend is about creating a space where you can: Explore your feelings, thoughts, and desires in rope. Build trust and communication with your rope partner. Deepen your understanding of safety and body awareness. We will work on questions such as: What do you consider "good or bad" pain? How can you clearly communicate with yourself and your partner? What are your personal boundaries and risk profiles? Here, you'll have the chance to combine reflection and practice in a supportive community. Workshop Description: Welcome to our Floorwork Course! This course is designed for everyone – whether you have very little experience or years of practice in rope. The focus is on expanding and deepening your understanding, knowledge, and awareness of rope fundamentals, safety, and the importance of co-creation, with an emphasis on individual adaptability, flexibility, play, and trust. (Unsure if this course is right for you? Contact us, and we’ll be happy to help you decide!) Practice and reflection: Technique exercises that help you grow, combined with discussions and reflections to deepen your understanding. About Your Instructors: Fittglitter (She/They) Fittglitter is a performance artist, rope instructor, and organizer with a background in psychology and a passion for questioning authority and traditional education systems. They value subjective teaching, inviting participants to explore and draw their own conclusions about their rope practice rather than prescribing what’s “right” or “better.” Their workshops focus on emotional and physical awareness, risk analysis, empowerment, community, social constructs, and exploration. With experience from both top and bottom perspectives, Fittglitter offers a creative and nuanced approach, holding space for the emotional and physical complexities of desire and vulnerability. Rope (They/Them) Rope has been organizing queer separatist events in their home since 2018, focusing on free exploration and co-creation. They have also performed at Stockholm Pride and taught rope and kink workshops for SLM Stockholm. Rope is passionate about education rooted in community-building, feminism, and disability rights. Their knowledge is grounded in experience from both top and bottom roles, which has cultivated an open and humble teaching style. Collaboration is at the heart of their material, play, and communication. What’s provided on-site?
